General

Based on the early-eighties, Traditional Series MIJ-model, the Fender Made in Japan Limited International Precision Bass has been built with the original USA blueprints in hand. In fact, even its period-correct, internationally-inspired paint job is the result of specially ordered American paint. As such, this P-Bass emanates pure authenticity and even comes including a matching gig bag.

The International Color Precision Bass: Made With Japanese Know-How

Crafted using basswood for the body, this relatively lightweight four-string bass packs a mid-rich acoustic sound and features all of the specs a solid reissue needs, including a U-profile maple neck that's been secured to the body with three bolts and will feel extra-comfortable to long-fingered bassists. A vintage bridge and vintage-style tuners solidify the tuning stability, while the similarly vintage-style split single-coil pickup combines with a volume and a tone pot for access to a range of famous Fender sounds.
