The Fender American Professional II Jazz Bass takes all of the regal pedigree and rich history, all of that revered J-bass playing feel, comfort, and tone and softly nudges it further than ever. The neck has retained the tried-tested-and-true comfort of a Slim C-profile, but comes with the extra stability of a 5-bolt construction, while the back has been treated to a fresh coat of 'Super Natural' satin gloss for an even faster, even smoother feel in the fret hand. Another deeply welcome upgrade is the extra-rounded fretboard edges - in fact, even the top corner of the neck-plate and heel have been rounded off for extra comfort as you reach the highest of the 20 narrow tall frets.
The American Professional II Jazz Bass: A Refined and Familiar Foundation
Fender have even tweaked and freshened up the alnico pickups of this pro-grade bass. So the pair of single-coils might look very familiar, but this is the next generation: the V-Mod II pickups. Full-fat bass and clean trebles are a given, but the renewed winding gives the sound of this Jazz Bass that all-important touch of refinement, and of course, each pick-up gets a dedicated volume control, and you can tweak the whole using the master tone pot. For classic looks alongside excellent sustain and tuning stability, the inclusion of a 4-Saddle HiMass Vintage bridge is yet another rich treat that can be used as a string-through-body or toploader as preferred, so you can attain the perfect, and most personalised sound and feel possible. This finishes a giant among basses and Fender's new, even higher level, professional-standard J-bass.

Wrote the following about Fender American Professional II Jazz Bass Olympic White RW Electric Bass Guitar with Case
Naast dat deze Bass er ontzettend goed uitziet in Olympic White, klinkt hij echt fantastisch! Het is alles wat je van een Fender J-Bass mag verwachten. De koffer die erbij zit is super stevig en heeft een TSA slotje wat altijd handig is. Als je wilt weten welke koffer er precies bij geleverd wordt (want dat staat niet in de productbeschrijving) zoek dan op "Fender Deluxe ABS Molded koffer". Enige minpuntje is dat de snaren die op de bass zitten niet fantastisch zijn, maar dat is standaard verhaal. Zelf heb ik er een handjevol geprobeerd en de Elixir Nanoweb 45-105 snaren klinken het beste! Ik hoop nog jaren plezier te hebben van dit prachtige instrument.
