General

A fresh, custom-finished reissue of a classic Epiphone model, the Newport Bass is a vintage-style, short-scale bass guitar for any Epiphone aficionados on a tighter budget. Various old-school details are complimented by welcome modern upgrades to polish off an extra-inviting build, so besides a relatively short 30.47" scale length, you're looking at a medium C-profile neck that grants this reborn sixties bass masses of playing comfort.

The Newport Bass: Bass Sidewinder & TB PRO Pickups

The satisfyingly lightweight body and the set-in neck have both been carved from mahogany, resulting in a rich core sound that's picked up by a Bass Sidewinder at the neck and a TB PRO bridge pickup as soon as you jack the Newport Bass into your amp. The tighter sounds of the TB PRO can be blended with the more focussed, deeply dynamic sounds of the Sidewinder at will, all while the Historic Bass Tune-O-Matic bridge and Claw tailpiece keep the tuning in check with the help of a set of sealed machine heads.
