General

The Cort Rithimic Series Jeff Berlin Signature 5-String Bass offers the same sound and build quality as the standard four-string version that came before. That means you're looking at an alder body that was topped with a slice of walnut burl before being bolted to a stable maple neck and ebony fretboard for a clear-and-bright foundation sound, while the snug neck profile combines with a 12-inch fretboard radius for a smooth playing feel.

The Rithimic V: Bartolini Jeff Berlin Custom Soapbar Pickups

So you can dial in almost piano-like lows, Cort has equipped the Rithimic V with a pair of custom soapbar pickups by Bartolini. Both pickups boast bright-and-balanced tone alongside a satisfyingly responsive feel, partly thanks to the unique magnetic field shaped by their split-coil design.

Babicz Full Contact FCH4 Bridge and Hipshot Ultralite Tuners

The passive electronics come with a basic control lay-out, making this Cort-made bass easy to dial in and play. Besides a volume and a tone pot, you get a balance pot for tweaking the mix created by both soapbar pickups. As far as the hardware goes, Jeff has opted for a Babicz FCH5 Full Contact bridge and a set of extra-light Hipshot Ultralite tuners, ensuring ample sustain, maximum dynamics and fully dependable tuning stability.
