The Cort A4 Ultra Ash is made for contemporary bassists seeking a modern look from an instrument that maintains a deliciously warm tone. Beneath a subtle, tasteful ash top sits two mahogany body-wings bisected by a solid 3-piece maple and two-piece panga panga neck, giving this 4-string bass its full voice and precise punch. The A4 also comes with its very own form-fitting hard case included.

The A4 Ultra Ash: Fishman Fluence Bass & Hipshot Hardware

For a highly stable, reinforced bass sound, Cort have gifted the A4 with a pair of Fluence Bass Soapbars that can be blended and then tweaked using the two-band equalizer while a three-way switch selects your preferred position or combo. Round, passive tone to full-range active growl, and on to a more funk-friendly scooped active sound is all possible here while the renowned black-coated Hipshot hardware includes a set of highly stable Ultralite machine heads and a TransTone bridge with string-through-body.
