Featuring custom gauges to maximise playing comfort, this pack of D'Addario NYXL45125 Nickel Wound Light Top Medium Bottom 45-125 strings come fully calibrated for five-string basses with a standard, long-scale setup. Each string has a steel core wound with nickel-plated steel to pull broad tone, plenty of depth and lush resonance out of your bass, while the less-than-standard gauges mean that the B-string is a touch thinner and the E and A strings are a little heavier to balance out both the sound and the feel.
