Acoustic string pickers, violinists, cellists, and even brass or woodwind musicians can sculpt their own unique sound with the Zoom A1X Four multi-effects unit. This comprehensive stompbox can be used to shape your own unique sound or to just throw it into an entirely new dimension. The A1X is not only able to process the signal from an acoustic guitar but from virtually any stringed instrument, including a violin, double bass, saxophone, trumpet, or even a harmonica. An expression pedal comes fitted for full, real-time effect tweaking and you're provided with 80 effects to tweak, 35 of which have been specially developed for use with specific musical instruments. An MAA-1 Mic Amp has even been generously included so that a condenser microphone can be hooked up and assured of power.

The A1X Four

In terms of effects, there really is something for everyone. Harmonica players can enjoy the classic Green Bullet sound, while trumpet players can warp and reshape their sound using the wah effect. A single violin can suddenly take on the majesty of an entire quartet at the push of a button, and acoustic guitarists are able to enhance the sound of their piezo pickup using the built-in IR tech, making the amplified sound of their instrument sound richer, and more natural. Zoom have loaded this effects unit with 50 user patches, offering more than enough space to experiment and carefully carve out your own sounds and save them. Even if you perform solo shows or just enjoy noodling alone in your living room, the 68 rhythms and 30 second looper function gives you more than enough to play with.

Super leuk ding, ik heb er echt veel plezier van. Nadeel is dat er niet standaard voeding bij wordt geleverd en en geen aan/uit knop op het apparaat zit. De batterijen lopen dus zo leeg. Uiteindelijk los adapter er bij gekocht.
Verder echt uren speelplezier en de enorme veel effecten zijn echt super. Gitaar, Uke, mondharmonica en zelf een beetje door de microfoon kraaien, allemaal leuk.
