General

Ashdown have essentially taken a slice of the control panel of the Cube-40 and AA-100 and mounted it into a pedal-housing, setting up your electro-acoustic or pickup-fitted acoustic guitar with a comprehensive stage preamp. The Ashdown Preamp Pedal provides detailed bass and treble controls alongside a notch-filter for dampening any feedback-prone frequencies, while the DI output fitted on the rear can be used to send your signal directly to the mixing desk without the need for an extra external DI box. This preamp basically backs up the stage sound of your acoustic guitar with the functions of the Cube 40, just minus the reverb.
