Yamaha has brought out a series of add-on software specifically for the 01V96V2 digital mixer that makes use of Virtual Circuitry Modeling technology, so the software models replicate the hardware models exactly, making it perfect for mastering purposes.

Yamaha AE021 Master Strip Package

With this add-on you can make all of your digital recordings sound like they were recorded with an analogue tape deck. This software contains models from the Studer A80mk1, A80mk4, A820 and the Ampex ATR100, as well as models from the '70s and '80s.

Different virtual tapes and settings

This software also gives you the ability to choose what kind of tapes you want to simulate, including those based on new BASF and old Ampex tapes. Additionally, you have numerous setting possibilities for adjusting the focus, distortion and saturation to achieve the most authentic sound possible.
