You can never have too many compressors, and even if you've found the one that does exactly what you want, you know you'll always want to try all the others at least once. If you have any doubt, then it's time to try out the Slate Digital FG-116 Fet Compressor. Essentially two units, each with two modelled circuits, this plug-in sets you up with a total of four compressors. The two circuits of the 'vintage' compressor are independently focussed on the mid-high and mid-low, while the circuits of the 'modern' compressor both boast a slightly slower compression speed. In a nutshell, the Slate Digital FG-116 Fet Compressor gives mixing engineers something they can really sink their teeth into.
