Calling IK Multimedia's Amplitube 3 guitar emulation software an upgrade would be selling it short. Not only does it offer more effects and amplifier models than before, both sound and performance have been enhanced as well!
Version 3 of IK Multimedia Amplitube provides you with a healthy dose of new gear. You'll be able to work with 160 emulations of vintage and modern amplifiers, cabinets and effects. A total of 31 amps, 46 speaker cabinets, 51 individual stomp boxes and 15 microphones are at your disposal - virtually speaking, of course.
Amplitube 3 delivers a better dynamic response, which means everything just sounds and feels a little bit better than it did in the previous edition of the software. Nothing matches the sound of the original hardware like Amplitube 3!
IK Multimedia's guitar emulation software offers virtual replicas of original models by Vox, Orange, Mesa, Roland, Trace Elliot, Acoustic, Gallien Kruger and many other renowned brands. The effects were modelled after original hardware by companies like Electro-Harmonix, Marshall and Ibanez.
Using Amplitube 3's effects and amps, you're able to create your own unique sound. To make your output even more realistic, fifteen virtual microphones have also been included. You can select two and place them in front of your cabinet or amplifier.
IK Multimedia Amplitube 3 guitar software can function as a plugin (VST, RTAS and AU), or as a stand-alone.
