Stacked cymbals produce a very unique sound, but pre-stacked cymbals are often available in a limited variety of sizes. With the Zildjian FX Spiral Stacker you can decide for yourself which cymbal to stack it on. This 12-inch effects cymbal is very thin, and can be placed on top of virtually any other cymbal, giving it a trashy edge - you could even stack it on top of a broken cymbal. Because the Spiral Stacker is a separate cymbal, you can throw it on a splash one time, and on a crash the next.

Sabian is adding no fewer than 25 new cymbals to its range of products for the coming year. There are new additions to the AA, AAX, XSR, B8X and HHX series, as well as a number of interesting new Artisan Light and Artisan Elite cymbals. The Artisan Elite series will increase the sound possibilities for jazz-oriented drummers in particular.
