The Zildjian FX Raw Crash is truly something else. While it looks like it was run over a truck, this uniquely curved, dented and hammered cymbal offers beautifully dry crash effects and can even serve as an alternative ride. First of all, the Effekt FX Raw Crash is available in two flavours: the small-bell model shapes more controlled sound packed with less overtones, while the large-bell model offers a more open and outspoken sound. Either way, no example is the same since each model sports its own one-of-a-kind collection of stripes, stains and curves. In practice, Zildjian's Effekt FX Raw Crash is perfect when you need medium to strong projection.
