This Meinl-made Smack Stack piles up three MS63 cymbals, each of which has a different cut and hammering pattern to guarantee unique bright sound and a short sustain. Designed with backbeat support in mind, this 3-in-1 cymbal sounds great in combination with snares and can be slightly tweaked by tightening the bolt of your cymbal stand. Here, a tighter fit results in shorter sustain, while a looser fit lengthens the sustain.

Sabian Introduce 25 New Cymbals!

Sabian is adding no fewer than 25 new cymbals to its range of products for the coming year. There are new additions to the AA, AAX, XSR, B8X and HHX series, as well as a number of interesting new Artisan Light and Artisan Elite cymbals. The Artisan Elite series will increase the sound possibilities for jazz-oriented drummers in particular.
