Meinl has a number of unusual cymbals in their assortment, such as this GX-10DB. This 10-inch cymbal comes from their Generation X series, which is chock full of experimental cymbals. In collaboration with Johnny Rabb (the erstwhile fastest drummer in the world), Meinl developed this drumbal! It is made of the lightweight MS63 brass alloy, and is a true special effect cymbal.
Meinl Generation X GX-10DB
With the GC-10DB, your drum kit can produce sounds that seem to come straight from a drum machine. The drumbal can be placed on a snare or another part of your kit, so that you can create a wide variety of sound nuances. White noise, hand claps and other 'electronic' effects all belong to the realm of possibilities. With this affordable and extraordinary cymbal you can add a new dimension to your drumming.
