General
The Meinl Classics series offers great cymbals for any type of drummer. No matter what you need, the German cymbal manufacturer will have something to your liking. Meinl even offers the more unusual sounds and cymbals. This C8BM is an 8-inch bell that is made of B8 bronze, with 92% copper an 8% tin, which is then securely shaped and finely finished.
Meinl Classics C8BM Medium Bell
The C8BM is the middle one of the three available varieties of this bell, which range from low to high-pitched. That indication is all relative, of course, as this medium-pitched bell still sounds much higher than your average splash cymbal. The C8BM has an excellent stick response and a bright, pingy tone with a lengthy sustain. With this distinctive cymbal you'll be adding a surprising, new sound to your kit's palette, which can inspire you to create new grooves and fills.

Sabian is adding no fewer than 25 new cymbals to its range of products for the coming year. There are new additions to the AA, AAX, XSR, B8X and HHX series, as well as a number of interesting new Artisan Light and Artisan Elite cymbals. The Artisan Elite series will increase the sound possibilities for jazz-oriented drummers in particular.
