Het verwijderen van de cover moet je wel met beleid doen anders dwarrelt het stof dat erop ligt alsnog op de apparatuur, maar het is goed te doen.
Het heeft mijn controller ook mooi beschermd tegen een onverwachte regenbui op weg naar binnen, dus top !

Uitereraard is het makkelijk te zeggen dat het maar een kunststof, of plastic, product is en dat het daarom voor een veel te hoge prijs wordt aangeboden. Nu is Polycarbonaat inderdaad een kunststof soort, maar het kan toch iets genuanceerder worden omschreven, in plaats van het op de grote plastics stapel te gooien.
Polycarbonaat is veel harder en steviger dan normale kunststoffen en kan bovendien ook nog eens hoge temperaturen aan. Het is dus een duurzaam product dat u een eenmalige investering kost.
Als u het afzet tegen de kosten die het met zich mee zou brengen als het apparaat na een tijdje mankementen vertoont door stof en vuiligheid, dan lijkt me de aanschafprijs enigszins redelijk.

Het is dat de DDJ te prijzig is om te laten verstoffen, maar ik vind 39,- voor een simpele plastic opzetkap echt belachelijk. Mooi verdienmodel.
Hij doet gewoon z'n ding alleen hij is niet zo handig als je huis stoffig is.

Zeker zijn geld waard die stofkap!
Om je apparatuur op de lange(re) termijn inzetbaar te houden is een stofkap een must-have.
Voor de Ergo is er maar een type en dat is deze.
Ik zou iedereen die de Pioneer DDJ-Ergo besteld adviseren deze kap er direct bij te doen.
Zeer stevig materiaal,
ziet er gelikt uit,
Aansluitingen blijven vrij,
Sluit voldoende af.
Enige minpuntje is het transparante plastic waardoor je vet en vuil redelijk snel ziet. Maar goed, doek erover en het is weer opgelost. Van de andere kant weet je direct wat je uit de Ergo zelf hebt gehouden.
Ik gebruik hem, uiteraard als ik niet draai, continue. Zeker geen miskoop dus!
