General

Instead of a good old teardrop tip, these particular Vic Firth American Classic 5A sticks have a barrel tip and offer an extremely balanced feel and an outstandingly clear sound. While the weight, length and the diameter of the sticks has remained unchanged, some of weight has been pulled back towards the rear of the stick to compensate for the shorter, rounder tip. Of course, the Vic Firth 5ABRL drumsticks are also a 'perfect pair', meaning they have precisely the same length and diameter.

Vic Firth 5ABRL American Classic 5A Barrel Tip Drum Sticks
Wrote the following about Vic Firth 5ABRL American Classic 5A Barrel Tip Drum Sticks

Tuesday 1 June 2021 By Kasper | Bax Music

Nothing beats the feel of playing with a pair of hard-wearing wooden drumsticks. If you know what we're talking about here, you probably don't go anywhere near plastic sticks and, just like all hard-core drummers, you take cleaning up all of those tiny chips of wood after an intense session for granted. Heads up if that's you, because Promark have masterfully mixed that trusty feel of wood with extreme durability to craft their FireGrain drumsticks.
