Vater has been carving out drumsticks for over sixty years and the refined fruits of their labours can be seen in the hands of many an eminent drummer, including Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mike Mangini of Dream Theater. Hewn from strong hickory to ensure a long lifespan and finished with a nylon tip to pull extra definition out of the cymbals, this pair of Vater VH1AN drumsticks have a 1A sizing that's a touch longer than a set of 5B sticks, while the diameter comes close to the feel of a set of 5B sticks - all perfect for heavier drum work.
