Kuppmen's CFDS5B Carbon Fiber 5B drumsticks last up to 10 times longer than wooden sticks! They have the same specifications as standard 5B sticks made of hickory with the same weight, balance, rebound, shape and tip. The only small difference is the slightly more open sound they make on ride cymbals which is similar to wooden sticks with nylon tips. On toms, hi-hats and crash cymbals, there's no noticeable difference at all.

Wrote the following about Kuppmen CFDS5B Carbon Fiber 5B drumsticks

Op aanraden van een medewerker bij Bax Rotterdam gekocht zonder hoge verwachtingen te hebben maar ik kan met recht zeggen dat ik nog nooit zo lekker gespeeld heb.

Na zo'n tien uur nog geen enkele blijk van schade aan de stokken. Door de hogere dichtheid van het materiaal hebben de stokken het gewicht van een 2b in het formaat van een 5b wat ik persoonlijk heel fijn vind en het feit dat de stokken iets meer flex hebben dan houten stokken zorgt voor perfecte rebound zowel op drums als op bekkens.

Als je hoge snelheid blastbeats speelt kun je er met deze stokken nog wat extra snelheid uit trekken zonder ter verkrampen.

Al met al ben ik enorm tevreden met deze aankoop en ben ik heel benieuwd hoe lang ze nu precies mee zullen gaan.
