General
Wincent drum sticks are available in various lengths, weights and woods, all finished with different tip-shapes, but what we have here, is a fat pack of genuine W-5A standards. These tear-drop tipped hickory sticks are notoriously adaptable and can be applied to any genre and playing style, but what makes them really special, is how they're made. Refusing to use a traditional wood lathe, Wincent has shaped these sticks using a sharpening stone before coating each of them in a super-thin layer of protective wax. As such, these sticks are as durable as they can get, and come 'As close to metal as wood can get'. This value pack kits you out with four 5A pairs.
Wincent: Swedish Quality
Wincent was founded in 1992 when Swedish drummer Dan Nylén wasn't too impressed with his rods, so just decided he'd have to make them himself. With the help of his father's experience as a carpenter and a little garage space, he started to produce his first bespoke sticks. In honour of his father, Nylén took on his Dad's middle name as his drum-stick moniker: Wincent. Ever since, Wincent have been producing rods and sticks with a focus on durability, using an ecologically conscious approach.
