General

The Roland RT-30HR is a snare drum trigger that doesn't only pick up the input from your drumhead, but from your snare's rim as well. Rim clicks, rim shots, ghost notes - the RT-30HR can handle them all. The snare drum trigger can easily be installed on any metal hoop with a height between 30 and 36 mm. It's not suitable for wooden hoops, as those are usually wider than 13 mm. The RT-30HR's sensor is automatically set and picks up the input from your snare drum with great accuracy. You can use the trigger in combination with various drum modules, including the Roland TM-2, the TD series, the V-Drums sound module, and the SPD-series percussion pads.

Wrote the following about Roland RT-30HR Dual snare drum trigger

Mooie trigger met een prettig formaat. Komt in een net doosje met de benodigde kabel. Het is even stoeien om 'm goed op de rand van de snare te krijgen, als je een lage rim hebt.
Pakt niet alle kleine details mee op een Roland Power Ply mesh head. Ik gebruik als module en Alesis Sample Rack. Ben er van overtuigd dat het gaat werken na wat 'tweakage'.
