General

While there's nothing wrong with using flat rubber pads to practise your rudiments, nothing beats the feel of the real thing. With that in mind, Tama drop the TMP8S 8-by-4-inch mesh-head practice pad. Fitted with smaller snare wires that can be adjusted via the tension control on the side, this low-volume bit of kit offers that genuine snare sound and comes finished with four stable lugs.
