General

Yamaha's DTX upgrade pack consists of the DTX502 Drum module and an XP100SD 3-Zone Snare Pad. The pack can be used to expand your acoustic drum kit or upgrade an older electronic kit. The snare pad offers a natural playing experience and you can play rim shots and clicks on it too. It's easy to mount on a standard snare drum stand and it comes with a cable so you can attach to the drum module. The module has 691 drum and percussion sounds on board as well as 128 keyboard sounds.

Upgrade your old kit

The DTX502 drum module can be connected to the electronic pads on older electronic kits giving you an instant upgrade. The module also has a USB port allowing you to connect it to a computer. If you don't want to invest in a whole new drum kit but you do want some extra possibilities or sounds, this DTX upgrade pack by Yamaha is an excellent option.

Ik had deze set aangeschaft om een oudere Roland een "update" te geven... het was dus bang afwachten of dit "huwelijk" zou lukken... en in eerste instantie ging dat vlot, alleen klonken de cymbals niet luid genoeg... na wat experimenteren, en o.a. pad gevoeligheid aanpassen klinkt nu alles perfect.
heel tevreden van, en uiteraard ook van de integratie van de 3 zone snarepad (zalig drumgevoel)
Jammer dat er geen Nederlandse gebruiksaanwijzing bijzit, maar gelukkig vind je die wel via internet...
