General

Audio Technica know how to please drummers - when it comes to audio that is - and the Audio Technica MB/DK7 proves just that! This complete set of 7 microphones lets you create high-quality recordings of your drum kit in a practical way. This durable case contains 4 tom/snare microphones, 1 kick microphone and 2 overhead microphones. 4 drum clips and 2 stands clamps are included.

Dynamic microphones of the MB/DK7

The four dynamic MB 5k microphones are designed specifically for the recording of snare drums and toms, while the MB 6k is excellently suited for registering the deep sounds of a bass drum. Both types are highly robust and have a compact design, so that they won't stand out in your drum set. Built-in holders for mounting on a stand or drum clip are also included.

Overhead microphones

For a spacious, clear and detailed stereo image of your drum kit, a set of overhead microphones is indispensable. Furthermore, these mics ensure that cymbals (among which the hi-hat) get a clear place in the mix. The MB 4k microphones are condensers and therefore a wide frequency response is guaranteed. High volumes aren't a problem for this duo, either.
