If you want rhythmic accompaniment but don't have the time to learn how to program drum beats, then the Korg KR-55 Pro is an ideal solution. Korg are known for their user-friendly products, and this intuitive drum machine is no exception.
Korg KR-55 Pro Rhythm drum machine
Each and every button on the KR-55 Pro has a clear function, which provides a very clear overview. You can choose between 24 rhythm styles, consisting of multiple patterns (basic, fill-in 1, fill-in 2, ending) so you can make a complete song in any style. You can set the song framework with the chain function and each bank has space for 999 measures. The KR-55 is powered via the included adapter , or by means of six separately-available AA batteries. The KR-55 even offers the option for a separate foot switch so you can toggle between rhythm patterns in real time and add fills too, which is ideal for live performances!
Multi-tracking with the Korg KR-55
As well as rhythmic accompaniment, you can also use the KR-55 Pro for multi-tracking. That will require different connections such as a line-in for your bass or guitar and an XLR input for a vocal microphone. Everything you create can be saved as a WAV file on an SD card, which you can then use to play other files. Basically, if you want to make great tracks, then the KR-55 Pro is al you need!
