A classic kick or snare sound is easy to recreate with analogue components, but something like cymbals are simply better off with samples. Mashing up the analogue and the digital, the Korg Drumlogue hybrid drum machine can do it all and, just like Minilogue released back in 2019, it's perfect for programmers who know their way around SDKs. In terms of sequencing, the Drumlogue is quite in-depth, featuring a tried-and-true x0x-style input system alongside individual inputs and a highly intuitive interface.
