Mega-extensive, the Erica Synths LXR-02 Drum Synthesizer module fully departs from the sound of the eighties to set up EDM writers and producers with a proper-contemporary beat-shaping tool. While the drum machines of yesteryear could be described as fairly basic, the LXR-02 is anything but, and invites deep-programming via a set of over thirty parameters per sound. With so many options to sink your sound-designing teeth into, this neat desktop box is basically a portal to a towering array of possible sounds. The x0x-style sequencer needs little introduction, and provides a clear path to building detailed and complex beats, and since all of it come pre-packed in such solid build quality, it's clear that this machine has been made for the stage - and that's exactly where it really comes alive.
