Mapex Tornado Fusion

To reach out to fresh-faced drummers and to help get them pounding, rolling and filling as soon as possible, Mapex has included hardware, cymbals, a drum throne (stool) and bass drum pedal with this five-piece kit. The bass drum snare and toms are fitted with redesigned lugs to keep the drumheads (skins) tight and sounding great and the toms are kept firmly in place by the included tom holders. For this new Tornado drum kit, Mapex have even redesigned their badge. It also comes with high-quality, pre-fitted Remo drumheads.

The Shells

The shells of this kit are made of basswood in accordance with the ISO9001 certification. That means that these drums are manufactured according to the highest production standards. Furthermore, each Tornado drum kit is crafted exclusively by specially trained personnel in Mapex's own factory. As such, you're assured of dependable quality. The basswood shells ensure a powerful low end and a great balance between mids and highs.

Included Hardware and Cymbals

No matter what genre you want to start playing, you'll need good, stable hardware (stands). The stands included with this kit have double-braced legs so you can be confident that they'll remain stable. Even the hardest, most powerful cymbal strike at the close of any 15-minute drum solo will struggle to topple one of these stands. To top the stands, you get a 14-inch hi-hat and a 16-inch crash/ride.
