General
For a solid sound with a lot of punch and warmth, you definitely need to get your hands on a Live Custom drum set by Yamaha. This series features shells made entirely of oak with thicker layers for extra punch, along with thicker hoops for more clarity and attack. Oak shells

Attractive look
Oak has a beautiful signature look, and thanks to the transparent finish in four possible colours, the beautiful wood really has a chance to shine. Furthermore, Yamaha finished the drums in this series with dark silver hardware for a luxurious, professional look. Finally, the thicker hoops offer added attack, which of course means you get a good, dynamic sound from this versatile Live Custom series set.
