General
Yamaha's Live Custom series is designed for live performances. It has oak shells that are 10% thicker than other kits. The bass drum is made of eight plies while the toms and snare are made of six. This gives the Live Custom a more powerful, deeper sound with plenty of room to express yourself. The Live Custom comes complete with hardware that ensures stability and dependability, even under the most demanding live situations.
Oak shells
Yamaha's Live Custom series all have oak shells, which provides a strong sound and clear definition with prominent low tones. On stage as well as in the studio, the Custom Live delivers a rich sound and an impressive presence. The thicker shells make sure that the sound always cuts through the mix.
Attractive look
The beautiful oak grain patterns are accentuated by this kit's transparent finish in four available colours. The shells have dark silver hardware for a luxurious, professional appearance. What's more, the thick hoops results in more attack and a more dynamic sound for an all-round versatile kit!
