General
Let it all out on stage with this Yamaha Stage Custom Birch drum set in Raven Black. This bold drum set has gotten a number of improvements from Yamaha, and we think you'll be pleased. To begin with, this set has a fusion configuration, and consists of a 20-inch bass drum, a 14-inch floor tom, two toms at 10 and 12 inches each and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum. It also comes with the HW-680 hardware package. You'll find it is ideal for live performances thanks to the sturdy birch shells.
Smart design
Yamaha has equipped the Stage Custom series with the clever YESS tom design. With this system, the tom holder isn't mounted into the bass drum, but on top, which retains the full sound of the bass drum. The design also makes it possible to place the toms closer to one another, and thanks to the adjustments of the smaller metal shell hardware, you'll find that your toms have an optimal sound.
6-ply birch
Birch has been a popular choice for drums for years. It is a strong wood type that can take a hit, and it offers excellent clarity in your attack. The Yamaha Stage Custom birch shells are made of 6-ply birch, which makes them ideal for live performances. Furthermore, the universal sound of this set will also work perfectly in your own rehearsal space. All in all, this set is top Yamaha quality for an attractive price.
HW-680 stands
Yamaha makes this set quite complete with the included hardware package. This HW-680 series consists of two cymbal stands with tilters, a hi-hat stand, a snare stand and a bass drum pedal, to offer you a stable yet compact set.
