General

The Yamaha Gigmaker drum kit is a great starter set. All you need to complete it is a set of drum sticks, a throne and some cymbals! The shells in this set are made of poplar, a wood type that's known for its excellent tonal qualities. The snare and toms are made of six plies of poplar while the bass drum has seven. This kit has a standard configuration, which means it's suitable for all music styles. The 22 x 16-inch bass drum has a deep sound with plenty of punch. The 12 x 9 and 13 x 9.5-inch toms and the 16 x 16-inch floor toms are accompanied by a 14 x 5.5-inch snare in the same Blue Ice Glitter finish. The Gigmaker also includes the following hardware: a CS651WA cymbal stand, a SS650WA snare stand, an HH650WA hi-hat stand and an FP6110A bass drum pedal.
