A limited run of the acclaimed Tama Starclassic Walnut/Birch shells are now available mounted with tight gold-plated hardware, setting of the rich natural-gloss finish of this deluxe five-piece shell set. These limited edition shells don't just feature additional gold hardware, but an extra layer of Tamo ash has been added to the classic American walnut and birch hybrid construction for a truly stunning look.

The Starclassic Evolution

The hybrid shells blend the warm low and mid-frequencies shaped walnut with the bright attack and high-frequency projection of birch, so you get that supreme Tama-grade balance of sound, but of course, this comes with a distinct difference: the Tama Star-Cast mounting system. This smart system gives the shells more room to resonate, making the response more natural than ever. Coupled with a pre-installed set of durable Evans drumheads, this shell set guarantees solid and consistent performance.
