It almost sounds too good to be true: professional quality for an unbelievably sharp price! But with this birch Silverstar VA62RS, Tama has succeeded in delivering just that. By using innovative production techniques and high-quality materials, Tama delivered a kit with a great, rich sound. They really put the drummer first when designing this drum set, and that shows. The result is a highly complete set that will cater to your every need!

Tama VA62RS-MTA Matte Tamo Ash

The birch shells of this VA62RS-MTA are equipped with Sound Arc hoops, which enhance their natural tone. Furthermore, the new Star-Mount tom mounting system with its slidable tom holder lets you position your toms any way you like. Tama chose to give this kit a Matte Tamo Ash finish for a timeless appearance. The natural wood colour exudes sturdiness and gives the shells a natural look. All toms, floor toms and snares are made of six plies of birch and are 6mm thick. The bass drum consists of seven plies, making it 8mm thick and giving it a powerful, rich and warm sound.

Six-piece kit

Because this six-piece kit comes in a traditional configuration, it is suited for a variety of musical genres. The 22-inch bass drum delivers a deep, rich kick, and the 10 and 12-inch toms, the 14 and 16-inch floor toms and the 14-inch snare really bring the whole thing together quite well. Furthermore, this set comes equipped with the Tama MTH905N tom holder. Clearly, this VA62RS has a lot to offer for such a sharply priced kit!
