General

The Tama VP62RS-PWH drum set in Piano White is an excellent drum kit for musicians who want a professional sound, but still want to be able to afford a trip to the supermarket. In other words: It's a lot of bang for your buck. The shells are made of 6 or 7 plies of birch. This hard wood type gives your drums a clear sound with a sharp attack, which is especially great when the going gets a little rough. The set consists of two toms, two floor toms, a bass drum and a snare.

Silverstar

Tama's Silverstar series is a worldwide success. Drummers everywhere voice their appreciation for these drum kits, with their professional sound and their friendly price tag. In 2013, Tama started using Sound Arc hoops on their Silverstar drums. These hoops allow for a natural sound and extra sensitivity. Tama also decided to make the toms a little less deep, approaching more traditional tom sizes to emphasise the tonal character of the birch shells.
