General

Light, ultra-compact, and barely deeper than a stack of pancakes, this set of four Tama Club-JAM Pancake shells are extra-shallow and deliver extra attack. At 3.5 inches deep and fitted with a single batter head, the rack and floor tom still manage to pack tonal warmth, while the snare and kick drum both feature a batter and resonant head, shaping a sharp and nicely cutting snare sound backed up by a surprisingly thick, low-end kick. The Club-JAM Pancake has been designed to serve any genre and any playing style, whether live or in the studio, and as a sweet and convenient bonus, every shell can be stacked and neatly tucked away in a single drum bag.
