General

The Sonor Select series offers drum kits for advanced and (semi) professional drummers. The Select Force Stage 2 in Brown Galaxy Sparkle is part of this series, and consists of a 22" bass drum, 14" floor tom, 10 and 12" toms and a 14" snare drum.

Sonor Select Force Stage 2 Set Brown Galaxy Sparkle: Canadian and Chinese maple

This 5-piece drum kit features shells that are made of 7 plies of Canadian and Chinese maple. As such, they offer a rich, warm sound with an even distribution of high-end attack, mid range and treble. Sound without compromise Maple has been one of the most popular wood types in the drumming industry for many years, and with good reason: it guarantees quality and besides its excellent tonal properties, it looks great as well! The Sonor Select Force series of drum kits have toms that feature the Total Acoustic Resonance system - T.A.R. for short. This system ensures that there is minimal contact between hardware and shell, which improves resonance and sustain.

Lugs

The lugs feature Sonor's TuneSafe system, which keeps the tension rods from shaking loose over time. Furthermore, the bass drum claw hooks are fitted with a special rubber lining that helps protect the shell from being scratched or damaged. To help make setting your kit up a bit easier, the bass drum spurs are equipped with memory locks. Of course, to keep your bass drum in place, you can choose whether you want to use the rubber feet or the metal spikes depending on what surface your drums are on.

Hardware

This high-quality drum kit comes with a set of hardware from Sonor's 400 series of durable stands, which are double-braced for added stability. This hardware pack consists of a bass drum pedal and stands for your hi-hats, snare drum and cymbals.

The Sonor Select Force Stage Set 2 is a great choice for any setting, be that in the studio or a live gig, and professional drummers would do well to take this kit into consideration!

Have owned this set for 12 years and the quality and sound is incredible. The mixed Canadian maple give a beutiful sound.
