General

The Cafe Kit Series from Brazilian builders, Odery, offer a solid foundation kit for any drummer of any age and at any playing level. This tight little kit comes with professional build quality and is even small enough for children to get to grips with. Each drum shell has been finished in a sleek White Mist.

The Odery Cafe Kit: Complete with inRock Hardware

This shell set comes with a complete hardware pack that includes a kick drum pedal, a hi-hat stand, a straight cymbal stand, tom holders, a kick drum pedal adapter, and a clamp for the snare. The only gear you'll need to bring is your drum throne (stool), sticks, hi-hat, and a crash or ride.

The Odery Cafe Kit Series

The included kick drum measures 14 x 11-inches, the toms measure 10 x 5.5-inches and 12 x 6-inches, while the snare is 12 x 5-inches. Each of the basswood shells are 7.5mm thick, and while the setup is pretty compact, by adding some pro-grade drum heads and using a good set of drum mics, this kit could easily fill most festival stages with its sound. If you prefer to play the kick pedal 'heel-up', then a 3 to 4-inch wide port-hole can be made in the resonant head of the bass drum so that the air is quickly released from the shell.

Great kit! sounds super nice, the snare really surprised me. The hardware included is also very good quality, very sturdy but i had to take a star off since I've found that over time, the arm holding the floor tom onto the bass drum sags a bit, so you cant get the floor tom flat, but i don't know if thats the particular kit I got or if its an issue with them all, but none the less, it doesn't make a difference at all. just around a very sturdy, great sounding kit that barely takes up any space!

Plus points. Good value kit. I was surprised how heavy duty the stands were. Designed in Brazil but made in China as to be expected at this price range. You only need 2 floor tom bags to carry this kit. One for the bass drum and the remaining three drums will fit in the other. Great sound from small drums. The only thing that looks and feels cheap is the snare strainer which is made from pressed steel which really lets it down, but works ok, and one of the snare wire became detached on its first outing.

I will probably replace both with better quality items at a later date.
