General

The sleek and fat, fusion configured six-piece Mapex Armory Stage+ shell set offers slick, fast tuning, an extra deep kick drum, a snare drum and a full, solid, and flexible foundation for a customisable kit - all with a Purple Haze finish, and all at an attainable price.

Each shell has been shaped by a 7.2mm thick, 6-ply maple and birch hybrid. The birch boosts the low and high-end while the maple balances out the mid-frequencies to ensure a tone-packed, focussed response and excellent articulation.

The Fusion Configuration

The Armory set comes with a 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" hanging tom, a 14" x 12" and 16" x 14" floor tom, an deeper-than-average 22" x 20" kick drum and a 14" x 5.5" Tomahawk snare drum. Each shell comes mounted with chrome-plated hardware and fitted with SONIClear tension hoops for enhanced contact between the hoop and skin. A full set of tom legs and a pair of TH800 SONIClear tom holders have also been generously thrown in, and due to the smart SONIClear system, the tom holders can be neatly clamped onto a cymbal stand, allowing the toms to hang and resonate freely for a fuller sound.
