This 6-piece Mapex Armory Stage+ shell set offers sleek, fast tuning and a solid, flexible foundation for a customisable kit, all at an attainable price. The versatile fusion configuration comes with an extra deep kick drum and, unusually generous for shell-set, a snare drum is also included.

The Mapex Armory Stage+ Fusion in Redwood Burst

The 7.2mm thick shells have been shaped by six layers of maple and birch before being coated in a Redwood Burst finish. The birch gives the low and high end a boost while the maple makes sure that the mid-frequencies maintain balance. It's this construction that lends the set its excellent tonality, focus and a level of articulation you would usually pay much more for.

The Fusion Configuration

This Armory set comes with a 10x 7-inch and 12x 8-inch hanging tom, a 14x 12-inch and 16x 14-inch floor tom, an uber-deep 22x 20-inch kick drum and a 14x 5.5-inch Tomohawk snare drum. Each shell comes with chrome-plated hardware and has been fitted with the SONIClear tension clamp system for improved contact between the tension hoop and skin. A full set of floor-toms is included as well as a pair of TH800 SONIClear tom holders. These holders are easily installed onto a cymbal stand and, due to the smart SONIClear system, allow the toms to hang and resonate freely for a fuller sound.
