General

The Mapex Armory Stage comes with a 10" x 8" and 12" x 9" hanging tom, a 16" x 16" floor tom, a 22" x 18" bass drum, and a solid treat in the form of a 14" x 5.5" Tomahawk Steel snare. This complete and fully customisable set is already giving you more than most, and since each shell has a slightly larger diameter than average, they're definitely built for the depth demanded by straight-up rock. They also come in a Purple Haze finish.

The Mapex Armory Stage

The Armory Stage shells come pre-fitted with the SONIClear tension hoop system for streamlined and enhanced tuning, especially when tuning to a lower pitch, making them much easier for beginners to get to grips with, and a sheer revelation for more seasoned drummers. Six layers of birch and maple form the 7.2mm thick walls of the shells and each comes mounted with chrome-plated hardware. A full set of tom legs and a pair of TH800 SONIClear tom holders have also been generously thrown in, and due to the smart SONIClear system, the tom holders can be neatly clamped onto a cymbal stand, allowing the toms to hang and resonate freely for a fuller sound.
