The Farmer Foot Drums 9 Pedal

Playing nine pedals with two feet takes a bit of practice before you're able to do it without having to think about it. The pedal configuration can be seen in the last image. Pedal 1 is used to play the upper hi-hat cymbal with a stick. Pedal 2 functions like a hi-hat stand and opens and closes the cymbals. Pedal 3 is the bar seen below the first two pedals and is basically your left hand hitting a snare drum. Pedal 4 replaces your right hand and also serves as a snare drum. Pedal 5 is the bass drum pedal while Pedal 6 lets you hit the lower hi-hat cymbal with a stick. Pedal 8 is used to control a Jingle Stick while Pedal 9 is in fact a little egg-shaker.

Even More Possibilities

If you thought that was it when it comes to the possibilities of the FootDrum, you might want to think again. Here's the tricky part: some of the pedals can be used in multiple ways. Normally, Pedal 1 is the hi-hat, but you can also use this pedal to hook up other percussion instruments such as a cowbell (not included). Pedal 6 provides a crash-like hi-hat sound but can be set up for percussion or as a snare drum too, while Pedal 8 and 9 can also serve as percussion or as an optional splash. • Please note: The FootDrum doesn't come with any hi-hat cymbals included. Hi-hat cymbals with a 12-14-inch diameter are compatible.
