Racks and clamps offer an alternative way of placing your drums and cymbals. One usually uses separate stands but they take up quite some space compared to a drum rack. Most basic drum racks consist of two legs with a cross tube. You can use this cross tube for suspending your toms, for instance, and the cymbal arms can be placed in the holders at the corners of the rack. This set can be endlessly expanded with different kinds of tubes and clamps, and almost any percussion component you can think of can be mounted in this compact system.
