Yamaha shows us once again what great quality they can offer at low prices with the HW-680 drum stand hardware package. The Japanese brand is known for their solid, durable, beautifully finished products, and these qualities are all easy to see in this package consisting of a bass drum pedal, hi-hat stand, snare stand and two cymbal stands. These 600 series stands are compact and surprisingly light, yet solid and stable. In short, this is a reliable hardware set for putting together your own drum set.
HW-680: four adjustable stands and a solid pedal
The two 79 to 162-cm-high cymbal stands from the HW680 package both have an offset tilter, meaning that a small piece is fixed to the tube so it can be tilted even further. The chain-linked hi-hat stand can be extended to a height between 65 and 90 cm, and your snare drum can be set up to a height between 43 and 62 cm by way of the three arms of the snare stand. Finally, you'll really get a kick out of the robust chain-drive bass drum pedal with felt beater. Now if only there were some drums . . .
