General
German drummer Florian Alexandru-Zorn is a specialist when it comes to brushes, which is why Vic Firth asked him to collaborate with them in designing a new pair that could live up to his high standards. The result is the Split Brush, which is basically two rows of retractable metal dowels in varying lengths. The longer dowels are for the classic brush sound that emphasises high tones and the shorter dowels take care of the mid tones for a fuller, louder sound in general. You can adjust the dowels to three different lengths, which varies the attack and therefore the sound. When not in use, you can retract these brushes for safe and easy transport or storage.

Vic Firth expanded its already impressive assortment with four remarkable pairs of drumsticks. Of course, all these sticks are made to suit their individual preferences.
