The Innox Basic Line serves up a solid double-door flight case at a budget-friendly price. Constructed from wooden panels reinforced by metal hardware, ball-corners and secure latches, this flight case sets you up with enough space to safely store, load, and transport up to 3U of 19-inch rack gear mounted via gliding, front-fitted profiles. This Innox-designed case even comes including all the necessary installation materials and offers a 23cm installation space, making it perfect for more shallow gear.

Dit is een degelijk kistje voor de (huidige) prijs dat zich goed sterk houdt maar ik denk niet dat het bij intensief en ruw gebruik lang zal overleven.
Het koffertje is ondiep, proper uitziend en niet bijzonder duur (op het moment van schrijven).
De bekleding aan de binnenkant is 2mm schuim en goed voor bescherming van apparatuur maar overbodig. Het verbergt dat het hout goedkope MDF is (voor zover ik kan zien). Het hout buigt desondanks niet gemakkelijk door.
Ik weet niet of de buitenkant fenol of ander kunststof is maar het is gelukkig bestand tegen water (voor zolang het niet tussen de profielen komt, ik heb dit niet geprobeerd).
Het plastieken handvat zit met vier kleine schroefjes half vastgedraaid. Ik heb ze door grotere exemplaren moeten vervangen want bij het eerste gebruik kwam het handvat al los.
Er zijn schroeven en moeren voor inbouw van apparatuur bijgeleverd maar enkele zelftappers leveren sneller resultaat op, ik kreeg de moeren niet in het profiel dat aan beide kanten met twee klinknagels vastzit.
De profielen van de koffer en het deksel sluiten niet over de hele lengte geheel vlak aan maar dit is louter een estetisch, niet een functioneel probleem.
De uitsparing in de deksels is 45mm met nog eens 20mm tot aan de voorgemonteerde glijprofielen.
De omschrijving spreekt over 23cm inbouwdiepte maar ik meet 24cm van voor tot achter en vanaf de voorkant van de glijprofielen blijft nog een uiterste van 22cm over.
Maar dat is dus ook de kwaliteit.
Handvat zit niet aangeschroefd, kun je niet zelf herstellen zonder binnenbekleding los te maken. Zijkantprofiel is krom, kistje sluit niet lekker.
En dan de glijprofielen, dat is een drama. Als je nooit je spulletjes vervangt kan het wellicht met een uurtje prutsen, maar niet eventjes een rackmodule vervangen.
De koffertjes van bouwmarkt handgereedschap zijn van betere kwaliteit. Zelfs de merkstickers op de blindpanels zitten scheef en niet op dezelfde plek, wat er lullig uitziet als je dat boven elkaar zet.
Ja het is goedkoop, maar zo slordig afwerken is onnodig. Dit gaat helaas retour.
+ goed handvat
- montage van 19 inch spullen is een ramp, te kleine schroeven, kleine moertjes, rails zijn scheef.
- de binnenbekleding zat al los bij ontvangst, dus dat valt er ook vanzelf af.
Jammer, maar dit Unox kistje is niet aan te bevelen, tenzij je er zelf nieuwe rails in schroeft, en de binnenbekleding zelf opnieuw wilt vast lijmen.
