General
Lumidesk designs innovative DMX software for those looking for an easy way to control lighting via their PC or laptop. Without sacrificing options and functions, Lumidesk has become known as the maker of the most affordable DMX software.
Lumidesk software
The software has a Windows-style design and makes use of drag-and-drop fixture patching, 3D visualizer, and an automatic effect generator. Especially the latter allows you to create professional-looking effects with great ease. As such, you can let moving heads make figures and adjust those to your preferences. You can also make LED PARs project rainbow-like programs which wouldn't be possible with a standard DMX controller.
It's also possible to control your lighting via an external MIDI or DMX controller with the help of a practical tool that picks up the MID and DMX signal and immediately links it to the preferred function. All in all, this is a highly complete software package at a very attractive price.
NANO interface
Lumidesk NANO is the lightest version with limited 3D visualizer, 128 DMX channels and 3K stand-alone memory. MIDI triggering isn't possible with this package. The interface features three buttons for switching between scenes and for adjusting the light show's general light intensity.

Ben inmiddels 1 week scene's en loops aan het maken, en ik krijg de software goed onder de knie.
Het is geen enorm moeilijke software dus je kan al snel uit de voeten.
Echt alle Fixtures, ook de oude kan je terug vinden in de bibliotheek.
Er zitten verrassend leuke effecten in de software die je bij verschillende fixtures kan gebruiken.
Denk bijvoorbeeld aan een knight ride effect voor je Par set, waarbij je kan ingeven hoeveel pars je hebt, ondanks de verschillende DMX adressen maakt Lumi desk daar dan een mooi geheel van.
Met Lumidesk beschik je ineens over een goede lichttafek op je PC of Touchscherm
Echt waar voor zijn geld.
En tevens weer supersnel geleverd door BAX.

Toch wil ik nog toevoegen dat de software vrij makkelijk te programmeren is.
Dit mede door de vele filmpjes online.
Enkele een online handleiding is wel een nadeel.
