General
Sunlite is lighting control software that is extremely user-friendly. The greatest advantage of Sunlite is that when you buy the software, you can get started straight away. Load the fixture profiles of your lighting, enter the right addresses and the program is ready for use.
If you have a scanner or moving head that is not in the library of the program, don't worry. On the website of Nicolaudie, the manufacturers of Sunlite, are a lot of profiles that have already been created by Sunlite users. If you can't find them there, there is a Scanlibrary Editor in the software that allows you to create a fixture profile quite easily yourself.
Using the Suite 2 Basic Class
If the profiles of your lighting are in the library, you instantly have fluid movements and all the functions that the lamp is equipped with at your disposal, through various buttons. Subsequently, you can add the hotkeys on your keyboard and, with a bit of practice, you will be able to create a stunning lighting show.
You can program an automatically performed show with the Cycle function. You will be able to record what you are doing in real-time and adjust the step and fade times later. With the 3D Easy View function you will see all you lighting move on screen and you can therefore program a show at home on your PC, without having to connect your lighting equipment. All in all, this is a versatile program that you can start working with, without going through a lot of hassle.
The Basic Class pack consists of the Sunlite Suite 2 software and a dongle from USB to XLR. This dongle has no complicated functions, it just provides a connection to the PC and an XLR in and output.

Hou ik het op de voor-geprogrammeerde shows in de moving heads en led pars of schaf ik mezelf een sunlite suite 2 aan om zelf te programmeren? De deadline was 3 weken want ik had een trouwfeest waar alles top moest zijn . Bij de Kanjo's 60 moving heads merkte ik al vlug een probleem op die zeker nefast was voor op het feest en dat was , dat de moving heads enkel recht omlaag schenen aan mijn trust , en zelden in de hoek van + 75° kwam , en bij de led pars klopte de sequentie niet zoals ik het voor ogen had. Dus na rijp beraad heb ik toen besloten om de sunlite programma te downloaden en mezelf er in te verdiepen. De conclusie was duidelijk is moest deze Suite 2 aankopen om een schitterende show te kunnen maken . Resultaat : na 1 weekje was de show volledig klaar en op het avondfeest gingen de switches mooi over in elkaar en werd de volle potentie van de moving heads en led pars pas echt duidelijk ipv de voor-geprogrammeerde shows. Top Product die easy to use is en zeer makkelijk is te installeren , plug in en beginnen maar . Prijs Qualiteit zeker een aanrader voor het betere werk !!!!!

Il y a beaucoup d'évolutions depuis ces anciennes versions et avec un contrôleur midi et un écran tactile. Il me semble que l'on peut être aussi efficace qu'avec une console en live !!!
Onze keuze viel uiteindelijk voor de Sunlite Suite 2 Basic omdat een computersturing meer vrijheid gaf. De lichtshow wordt thuis geprogrammeerd en gaat met een USB-stick mee op verplaatsing. Zo hoeft onze installatie niet steeds opgebouwd te worden voor een programmatie.
Ook voor gebruik in een live-show (schoolfeesten, toneel) heeft deze software meer gebruiksgemak dan een mengtafel.
Om het faden en snel wisselen van scenes nog vlotter te laten verlopen maken we gebruik van een Elation Midicon DMX. Deze wordt standaard herkend door de software. Een schuif of knop toewijzen aan een bepaalde actie is kinderspel.
Dit pakket is een echte aanrader.

Al de mogelijkheden die het programmeren al standaard heeft is super en bespaard een hoop tijd.
Ook is het fijn om thuis al een aantal dingen in 3D te maken.
Hierna heb ik de Elation Midicon tafel erbij aangeschaft en deze ook een aantal keren gebruikt met show's het enige wat ik jammer vind aan de Midicon is dat de faders niet motorisch zijn maar dit is het enige min punt wat ik over deze tafel kan zeggen.
Om alles nog gemakkelijker te maken heb ik een touchscreen aangeschaft, snel een andere beweging of kleur selecteren is zo gedaan een touch op het touchscreen en je hebt de kleur al in je movingheads/ledparren enz.
Elke keer dat ik het programma gebruik leer je meer truckjes en heb je sneller scene's of switches gemaakt.
Ik vind dit pakket in combinatie met de midicon en touchscreen een aanrader!
