General
DMX-connected lighting set-ups can be easily controlled via PC or Mac with this Cameo DVC interface. It's fully plug-n-play and supports up to 512 DMX channels, all of which are supplied with power via the connected computer. In stand-alone mode, the DVC supports 256 DMX channels and programmed light shows can be simply copied over to the internal flash memory. The interface is equipped with a mini-USB input and a DMX output and can be controlled using just three buttons when put to work in stand-alone mode. Do note that this mode does require a standard 5V USB power supply (sold separately).
Extensive Software Package For Controlling and Adjusting
The freely included software package contains a staggering 15,000 'device libraries' and an Editor called 'ScanLibrary' to create, edit and save your own profiles. Individual DMX devices can be selected and organised into groups via the 2D display in order to effortlessly make and arrange dynamic scenes. Since the software is built around the XEEL engine, it's possible to summon hundreds of versatile and ecstatic effects and includes a toolbox with an audio analyser and live editing functions. Any programmed show can be 3D visualised in real-time and if needed, you can even operate the DVC over Wi-Fi using your Android or iOS device.

Wat betreft het product zelf, ik ben sprakeloos over de prestaties van de Cameo DVC 512. De mogelijkheid om 512 kanalen aan te sturen via USB naar DMX is gewoonweg verbluffend. De bijgeleverde bedieningssoftware is intuïtief en krachtig, waardoor ik volledige controle heb over mijn verlichtingsinstallatie. Of ik nu een professionele lichtontwerper ben of een enthousiaste beginner, deze interface en software zijn een absolute must-have.
Bovendien is de bouwkwaliteit van de interface indrukwekkend. Het voelt robuust aan en ik heb er het volste vertrouwen in dat het mijn intensieve gebruik zal doorstaan. Bax Music heeft duidelijk alleen producten van de hoogste kwaliteit in hun assortiment opgenomen.
